These are the second pair of Big Jon reels I have owned. (New boat. Should have taken them off the old one.) Very easy to use and IMO the best option for running planer boards.

Nice product which fits my side rails for my hard top. They work great and appear to be sturdy. The reason why I gave a 4 is because one of my reels cracked upon reeling in the planner board. Make sure your boat is in neutral or pull all the line in by hand. If you attempt to crank it in while trolling you will crack the reel.
