The Big Jon Manual Dual Planer Rigger's 2-piece, 72'' mast is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a 1/8'' thick wall to stand up to the load of two planers and multiple fishing lines. The Manual Dual Planer Rigger features dual 8'' reels with adjustable disc clutches, and includes 150' of 135-pound tow line per reel, with swivel tips. I have been using this planner board reel mast for 10 years in both calm and heavy swells. I am very happy with it. I use it in front and in back depending on conditions and weather. I use long lines. One fiberglass boat I had would flex at base mount. I installed stabilizing cables at 45 degree angles to mast...problem solved. works great, Looks good, Well made
