I got this for a double wide tree stand. It provided good protection from rain and dropped branches. It was kind of a pain to put up but worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by YoungBuck1969 great for a year....
it was very durable for one season. stood up to strong wind, gave great cover, very diffucult to install since the top strap is 2 foot above the roof so if your roof is 2 foot over your blind rail another 30 to 36 inch the you need to be able to reach the back of the tree at 6 and 1/2 to 7 feet to strap it. i stood on my stand seat to accomplish this. tie down straps are very nice. biggest let down was when i wen tot my stands in february to see what was needed for the upcoming year the roof had a tear from the sun wearing on it and the stress on the vinyl. a couple weeks later the rip was so large the roof was useless. if they made better material for the roof to last my rating would immediately move to a 5.

Bought 2 for this season and purchasing another. Make sure you open the umbrella before climbing and installation is not that difficult. Little tricky but once in place it works great.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by mlbsmc Good umbrella, sturdy
Purchased this for my ladder tree stand and I like it, it was a little difficult installing as you have to put the top up first and then strap it to the tree. Which is hard to do reaching over and around the top and standing in the seat of the stand. It appears to be sturdy, it went through some 20 - 35 mph winds from
the remnents of a hurricane and stayed in place. I have not sat in a hard rain yet but in a slow drizzle and stayed dry. I have had other umbrella and they were not as good as this is, it wraps around the tree well to differ the rain from running down your back. Good investment for the money.

i own a big game, big buddy treestand. will it work with it?Answers
A:Â
well......it doesn't work with regular sized one person tree stands, I'd spend your money on building an umbrella out of something sturdier like 2x4's and rubber.Details:Â
You can see a strap that attaches to the peak of the umbrella. How far above the seat of the tree stand is that strap attached to the tree?Answers

Just high enough so the tallest person to sit under it can do so.A:Â
I attached my strap about 2 inches above the back rest of my treestand. I then attach the peak if the umbrella at about head level. If you attach the bottom first where I told you, then just stretch the peak to where it is snug and everything should fall into place.Answers

No. To much chance of damage from high winds, ice or snow or failling branches.Top 10 Contributor

With a strap around the tree.A:Â
Nylon straps with rachet-straps and hooks on the bottom bracket which attach to the trunk and the peak is attached with just a nylon strap around the trunk and just a plastic clip. No problems. Durable parts and components.1 of 1
