Held up through all weather conditions, although it is still small metal parts enclosed in plastic. Went to move my stand secured with this lock, knowing I lost my key to this lock, I brought a hammer. It took three hard swings with a 22oz hammer to the main plastic housing and this lock was no more. I'f your spending decent money on a treestand, spend decent money and get a better lock system than this.

These cable locks are much more robust than previous ones I have purchased. They may not stop someone who is deteremined to steal your tree stand, or other items, but at least they will have to bring a bigger bolt cutters. It remains to be seen however, how they will hold up threw a midwest winter.

You get what you pay for. It works great to slow people down that might stumble across your stand without a bolt cutter.

I suppose they will be okay for the price but why say "All keyed the same for your convenience" on the box and description if they are not!?
