I bought this strap to go around trees while hunting ducks in the timber in Arkansas. It is illegal to screw hooks in the trees, so I needed a way to hang some gear including my gun, duck straps, etc. to the tree. The strap works great at what it's supposed to do. I would recommend it for anyone with similar needs.

Already tried this thing out, and it works great. I hunt whitetail in a stand and prefer to sit most of the day. It works great to hang my hydration pack, my coffee thermos, and my "possibles" bag. Ordinarily I'd use a branch and other ropes to hang this stuff above me, but the strap really makes it clean and organized.
