I bought several of these 4 years ago and the seats were deteriorated almost to the point of being unusable last fall (2012). I called Big Game expecting to order new seats, but was told that the version of this stand I bought was not in production anymore and seats were not available.
They told me I should bring my stands in after each season! I'll never buy Big Game again.

I bought 3 of them on sale for $99. They are durable and include all of the safety features. The cushions and covers are removable which will be nice since we are going to leave them up. Put the seat together at home before you go. Its not too bad but its quite a few small bolts and takes about 20 minutes.

This is the third Big Game Treestand I have purchased, two double seat stands and one single seat, they are well designed, easy to assemble, in short a great product for the money. I remove the cushions at the end of deer season here in Missouri, other than that they are against the tree all year and they hold up well under those conditions. I feel safe in them.

Read through the directions first, and I think the chinaman that packed it left out some nuts. I wish the stand came with lock washers but i used some I have at the house. You really don't want anything coming loose at 17 ft. It is a good height and the seating area has enough space to move around a little to brace for a long shot. Can't beat the price, that is what put me over on getting one.

I don't really know anything about hunting, but my boyfriend is really into it. I know he's been wanting a treestand for a while, so i'm thinking of getting him one for Christams. I don`t have a whole lot of money so that`s why this one appealed to me. But does the lower price reflect it`s quality, or is it a good deal? Also, he is a bigger guy (6.3") so will that be an issue with this product?

If he is that tall he needs to be very safe standing up in that stand...not a huge place to stand...but if he hunts a lot he shoud know what he is doing......but talk himm into wearing a safety harness and not the ones that comes with these stands.....spend the extra money if ya can afford it to by a good brandA:

Yes this ladder stand is built like a tank and is plenty wide enough. But like any type of ladder stand where you stand is not very large...but lets be honest if your hunting your not up there to be dancing around and moving all over the place. But I am 6' almost 200 pounds and this stand is ROCK SOLID if mounted like it should be. I am 38 and have been hunting since I was 13 and have owned and used almost every brand of climber, lock on and ladder deer stands and this stand is THE BEST stand I have ever used no joke. If you buy it you might want to make sure and but a roll of 3M black tape for the clips that hold the ladder sections they rattle when climbing into the stand but it took me 45 seconds MAX! to wrap the 4 clips. BUY IT worth way more than Bass Pro is charging I am buying another one just like it for another tree in the woods I hunt and I night buy another one just because it's such a deal a person better buy as many as they want for this price and how solid and well built this stand is! Like I said like ANY ladder stand there is not a lot of room where a person stands but if a person is deer hunting you shoudnt be moving all over the place in it. The goal to seeing more deer is moving as little as a person can.A:
