This product is excellent, I have used pegs for years and to go from pegs to this ladder is an awesome change, what used to take an hour or so to get the pegs in and the stand up took less then 30 mins this year, highly recommened.

I bought these steps along with two Boss Lite Packable Combos, the stands came with three sections, but they only got me up about ten feet. Not bad, but I wanted to get up higher, I bought one set of steps so I have four steps on the tree, and one section I pack into my locations. With five sections I can get about fifteen feet up a tree, perfect height to see long distance, and take the perfect shot.

I would recommend these steps. I only am using one set to get to my first peg as my stand was stolen last year so I purchased one set of these to replace the bottom four pegs and I take it in and out with me each trip. I would recommend an additional strap be used as one is not enough to keep the steps stable, other than that, very light and easy.

I gave this product a 4 because nothing is ever perfect. The steps are light and travel very well. Great for public land hunting. They do well on private land as well. I wish they would sell these in a 4 pack or even a 5. Because 3 of these steps only get you about 15' in the tree. Great value for the money

should i get a extra section along with the three pack and how high should that get me up

The package comes with 5, 4' sections and will get you to 20'. Unlike other brands, where you only get up to 16-18'.I've purchased this product and use it for hog and deer hunting. Trust me, you won't need to add sections to this when it arrives...unless you're setting up at the base of a hill and want to be above something on the hill, but at that point, why not just find a better vantage point?!?!
