This safety vest is very nice for the price. The odor is very bad at first and it will stop smelling if you hang it up for several days.

i did a lot of research on many diffrent systems before buying this harness, and this seemed to me the best bang for my buck. after hunting with it for several weeks i am very happy with the vest. some said the smell was to much, after getting it out of the shipping bag i sprayed it with scent killer and left it outside untill i needed it. now the smell is gone. great product

I agree with the previous posts about the strong odor and noisy fabric, but after 1 wash the odor is gone the fabric softens up. I’ve used it 6 times now and really like it. The cargo pocket are great, the vest is comfortable and easy to use. Overall it’s a great value

Im right there with you. if you are mostly belly, i'd go with the 2xl. The XL will still fit but when you combine jackets, etc, not so good.A:Â
I am 6 two, 200 pounds, and use the XL, it is big but works with light clothes and fits nice with several layers of winter wear.Details:Â
Any comments on sizing? I would usually consider a medium (I'm 5-8 @ 165 lbs) but with hunting clothes perhaps should by the L/XL.Your thoughts?
Thanks

Under insulation yes. Over insulation, a L/XL will probably still be too big.A:Â
I'm 5-9 160lbs and the small-medium vest fits perfect. I would say with zip up coveralls maybe go with the large.Top 10 Contributor

ALWAYS buy larger when in doubt (except when buying clothes for your wife...in that case always buy much too small and let her exchange them for ones she really wants in correct size). These have adjustable straps but to allow for hunting clothes, buy larger size than usual if unable to try it on first.Answers

feels like a pvc/vinyl type material. Not the quietest but certainly not the noisiest material. helps with the rain and wet trees on your back.A:Â
The vest is quiet unless you bang a carabiner or another hard part with your range finder. I did. Other than that silent.A:Â
The liner is plastic which stinks very badly and is very noisy. I also do not trust the quality and am returning mine if I can.1 of 1
