Works just like it is supposed too. After refusing to pay double the price of this item for the competitors similar product, I decided to try this device out last year. I was completely satisfied skinning my deer. Cut skinning time drastically, without the usual sore thumb involved in pulling on the hide. The teeth grip the hide like a vice.

I purchased the skinning tool as a Christmas gift to give to my dad. Unfortunately since our season goes out on January 1 it was only used once. I was however very pleased with its performance. The cross bolt was a bit loose upon recieving it but this was quickly remedied. It worked very well the time it was used and I would recommend it to anyone who skins deer on a regular basis.

I used the skinning tool last week for the first time on a large 4 point deer. I was very pleased with it . I usually skin deer by hand and this tool made the job extremely easy. The teeth grip the skin well and the handle gives good leverage to pull. The price is reasonable. I think any huner would be happy with it.

I have read negative comments about similar devices offered by a competitor but their model seems to be made of cast aluminum or pot-metal. The common complaint of the competitor's model is that they bend or break easily. I hope the Big Game Treestands brand is made from cast iron as it appears in the photos.Answers

This one is made out of solid metal. You could probably hook it to your truck and skin your deer with it.1 of 1
