I bought three of these for Christmas presents, Two of them looked fine the third one was all Bent up when it arrived. I called basspro they sent me a new one for free immediately, but that one was In even worse shape not from shipping just very bad Quality control in manufacturing, they are made from cast-iron so I have no idea how they get so bent. I just put them in my vice and straightened them out. but not really Cosmetically pleasing to give for present. The tool itself works great once I Straighten them out. And most guys you give this to won't care about a few scratches

works great advise to order 2 , with 2 people it only took less than 5 min to skin out an avg size deer would recomend to buy

I received this skinning tool as a gift. Being 70 years old I need all the help I can get when it comes to skinning a deer, but I found this tool to be no help at all. I was disappointed to say the least.

I have read negative comments about similar devices offered by a competitor but their model seems to be made of cast aluminum or pot-metal. The common complaint of the competitor's model is that they bend or break easily. I hope the Big Game Treestands brand is made from cast iron as it appears in the photos.

This one is made out of solid metal. You could probably hook it to your truck and skin your deer with it.
