Had high hopes for this one....Thank god I tried it out at home before driving the 1.5 hours to the property. Out of the box was easy to set up date time etc. Strapped the unit to my deck and took day and night pics. Day pics were good and I was happy. Night pics..BLACK, BLACK AND BLACK. Tried resetting cam, same thing. Tried Video, BLACK. Oh and had 15% of daytime pics were white out.... This masterpiece is going back right away!

Was willing to try this camera based on the undetectable flash. The pictures were either complete white outs or solid black outs. It has been a couple of weeks since I checked it but the first batch of pictures were not good. Other brands on the same tree produced several more and better quality pictures. If the next batch of pictures is bad I will be sending it back.
Concept is great, getting it to work is another story.

This is the latest of five camera's that I own. I've gotten approximately 250 pictures since setup. I'm please with the quality of the photos and even took some of a doe and fawn running pass the camera. In my oppinion, thats pretty good trigger speed. This camera is extremely simple to setup. Highly recommend this camera. Better than spending a small fortune for same quality as the high priced guys.

Was happy to give Big Game a try on their trail camera as I have been happy with their products in the past. However, I think this one is a fail. After taking over 1000 pictures with the camera I have found many of the photos just "white outs". Also, lots of glare and washed out areas of photos. The camera has trouble distinguishing between day and night. Most photos are in IR even in the middle of the day. Color shots are rare. I tried switching out SD cards thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. I was hoping for a better entry from Big Game but this one needs to go back to the drawing board.

find a different brand. i had nothing but problems with this camera. remember that this is the first year this product is on the market. lots of bugs to work out!!!A:Â
The infa red flash puts out a red glow when it takes a picture at night. You can see it if looking right at it. There are cameras that have the flash hidden but cost quite a bit more. You might also want to consider a smaller size camera as well.1 of 1
