To all bass fisherman I highly recommend having a few assorted colors in 1/4 oz. Bigger blades, bigger bodies, bigger & stronger hooks than Beetle Spin
. Beetle spins have their place but I have been throwing this 1/4 oz w/3" bodies when my $6 & $7 spinnerbaits haven't produced and plesantly surprized.
Let the fish tell you if their feeding on minnow size this can really produce.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Buzzbee Very good bait
Myself and my fishing buddy have used the Bett's Spin for crappie fishing for a couple year's now, and have discovered that it is a very effective bait. Our favorite is the 1/16 ounce in the orange craw/ gold glitter, we've caught crappie in excess of 2 lbs, and earlier in 2011 we caught 53 in one day. Besides being very durable, the size grub and jig wt., coupled with the size 0 spinner is a deadly combination, you can't get this with a Johnson Beatle Spin. I highly reccommend this lure for crappie, bass, and bluegill. Good luck fishing!

The 1/16th ounce lure has a 1-1/2" in length. You would need to purchase the whole lure set up for the new grubs.1 of 1
