This is a great fly for bluegill. Just make a cast and wait about ten seconds. If there's a bluegill near it you'll get a bite. Caught a couple little bass on it too.

early this spring when the bluegills were all on there nests I went down to a small pond near my house to fish with this lure. I was not using a fly rod and I did not need to because the fish were all within 10 feet of the shore I would stop and catch 10-15 fish then move another 15 feet down the shore by the end of the day I had caught at least 150 fish. since Then I have never had a day of fishing that great
another amazing thing was after 150+ fish this lure was still in mint condition unlike countless others

in the lake i fish in there are big 10'' bluegill and some nice pumpkinseed. now they just stocked a ton of black and white crappie. its my favorite panfish lake. with this popper i catch them all!

Bass and big Bream can't resist this fly. I caught this beautiful 1 pound Redbreast out of the Ogeechee river on a white Pop N' Hot. Buy some!
