I am in Maine. Day 3 of fishing for the eason and I have been killing them with this bobber tiied to a 18 inch leader to a 6 inch pearl shad with a hook and no weight. 7 reeled in and the Stripers ain't supposed to be in yet.

Bought these because I hear about using them in fresh water for bass, I hung fluke type minnows under this float and threw them over suspended fish on flats. Gurgling/poppinng sound attracts really well. Best on a cloudy day

Worked well for drifting live bait and cut bait for sharks. Also worked well for drifting live shrimp for sea trout and redfish.
