Betts® Frugal Frog Flies 4.8 5 12 12
Betts Frugal Frog #9 frogs in both colors are the only flies I use in the middle Tennessee river that I live on. Water depth is from 10 to 40 feet, yet these flies consistently produce from March through late fall for smallmouth(of all sizes) and bluegill. I use only a 4 weight 8 1/2 ft. rod and get great control and action. I now leave my other dry and wet flies at home. September 18, 2014
great bass fly great fly for bass in early summer after the spawn and when the bull frogs are at their loudest.. lots of action when just a little breeze in the evening. April 25, 2014
