Much better than the Old Salt series Heads n' tails better than the Old Salt series ! I lost my Old Salt 7' in the height of the mullet run here in Ft. Lauderdale. Bass Pro was out of them so I had to get a Blue series 7 footer. The Blue is sleek and streamline like more expensive nets, where the Old Salt is real puffy and a difficult to gather up. Also, it was a piece of garbage... the main-lines kept slipping under the lead-line- constantly, without reason ! I had to constantly sort snags out of my lead-line. The Blue is so much better ! It's a lot easier to sort and gather, the lead is better balanced, and you're not having to fight with a puffy mess. It throws and spreads better than the Old Salt. I have not had a single issue with the main-lines tangling in the lead- line. October 6, 2014
