Berkley® Vanish® Fluorocarbon Leader
Get something else!
I got a spool of 40# & 50# for tying leaders for stripers. I did not look at reviews first and am lucky it was pretty cheap. The line is very stiff so knots are impossible to tie without kinking the line creating weak spots that will break with the slightest pull from a fish. Being very cautious I tried several leaders using lots of lube at the knots but they still broke! After that I tried truck fish fluorocarbon and it is perfect every time with the same knots.

Stiff, easy to fray...junk
Like others have said, this line is not good at all, it's super stiff and its very hard to tie a knot. Easy to break because one rub on anything hard will fray this line. Do yourself a favor and check out the line of fluoro Seaguar has.

OK, but not great
I wish I would have read the reviews on this leader material before I purchased. This leader material is VERY stiff, difficult to tie knots. I haven't used the other brands, but I have read that Seaguar and other brands are much more limber.
I used the 50# material and tied about a 18" leader. I had decent success with largemouth still hitting my soft plastic jerkbait. Unfortunately, I did not have any northern or muskie hit, so I can't say how the leader performed for its intended use. The leader definitely hurts the action of the soft plastic jerk bait. next time I'll try about a 8" leader...that may work better.

worked for me.
I used it trout fishing in So. Calif. Still using it in the Eastern Sierras. I caught a good amount of trout on it to 5#'s.
