Rated 2 out of 5Â by Matri Stiff, easy to fray...junk
Like others have said, this line is not good at all, it's super stiff and its very hard to tie a knot. Easy to break because one rub on anything hard will fray this line. Do yourself a favor and check out the line of fluoro Seaguar has.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this leader material before I purchased. This leader material is VERY stiff, difficult to tie knots. I haven't used the other brands, but I have read that Seaguar and other brands are much more limber.
I used the 50# material and tied about a 18" leader. I had decent success with largemouth still hitting my soft plastic jerkbait. Unfortunately, I did not have any northern or muskie hit, so I can't say how the leader performed for its intended use. The leader definitely hurts the action of the soft plastic jerk bait. next time I'll try about a 8" leader...that may work better.

I used it trout fishing in So. Calif. Still using it in the Eastern Sierras. I caught a good amount of trout on it to 5#'s.
