- Virtually invisible to fish
- Shock absorbent
- Maintains strength when wet
Virtually invisible and proven not to spook fish! Designed to refract light just like water, Berkley's Vanish Fluorocarbon Fishing Line "disappears" in the water. Vanish Fluorocarbon also maintains its strength when wet (unlike other lines), casts well, and is sensitive enough to detect the softest bites. Plus, Vanish offers excellent shock absorbency when you set the hook.

The key is to let lower your drag. If to much tention on the line, it will snap. Key is to set the drag lose, when the fish doesn't feel the resistances from the line. They usually stop running. Just give them a nice steady reel. I caught 3-4 lbs trout with this line. I kept 3 good size ones, all together caught 3 nice rainbow trout. All together 7 that day, most where release cuss they where females, full of eggs.

I will make this short and sweet, the 20 pound line was very weak and had no abrasion resistance. A backlash, I mean professional overrun, even caused this line to break. DO NOT BUY THE 20 POUND VERSION OF THIS LINE!!!!!!!!

I fish a lot at a lake called Irvine Lake, which is located in Southern California. This line helps a lot when using 2 or 4 lb. test. It also works well with 6 lb. test. It works as described. Everyone has their own opinions on fishing tackle. This line is MY preference. Using 4 lb. test, I caught a 9.25 pound brown trout. I also do a lot of kayak fishing. On some spots of the lake the water is "dirty" and other parts clear. This line performs well in all conditions. I've also used it in saltwater and it performed well.
