ive used a few other brands and was never impressed, trilene smooth casting gives me everything i need in a line and my wants,, cost is low so i can change it regularly without breaking my wallet, its a tough line and never have issues with twists or breaks,, ive brough in numerous double digit carp in on this stuff 2,4, and 6 lb is all i use, i use braid for anything that requires heavier, for the addicted fisherman like myself i love this line

This is the best line you can get for anywhere near the price, and these single filler spools are extremely convenient.

This fishing line is soft, flexible and easy to tie. Probably the best overall line I have ever used. I would definitely purchase this product again. Thanks.

A:Â
This line will do fine on a spinning reel. Try XT for baitcasting reels.A:Â
yes it wil work and i think its good for beginners, cheap enough to experiment with and if you drop fishing you haven't spent a bundleA:Â
This line will work for freshwater use. Be sure to use a test weight that is applicable to the size of fish that you are seeking (i.e. 4 pound test for crappie and bluegill and 8-12 pound test for bass).A:Â
