No. I use the knot Shaw Grigsby demon stated on U-tube instead of 3 wraps on 14# line i use 5. No problems great knot.

No. Do not tie a palamar in this line. One of the twisting Knots are much stronger with this line. ie the fishermans knot

I have used Fluorocarbon for a couple of years now. Most mono knots work just fine. I prefer the improved cinch knot.
