Rated 5 out of 5Â by brooktrout The best for summer smallmouth fishing
If you like to wade down the river on hot summer afternoons fishing for smallmouth, this item is perfect. You can store a nice variety of crankbaits, spinner baits, topwater lures and it's perfect for storing live hellgrammites, should the artificial action slow down. The way it folds down also creates a decent work surface when you're waist deep in the river. I have owned two of these for over 15 years and they have been practically indestructable. I finally broke one this season by dropping a 16 pound boat anchor on it from about 3 feet (unintentionally). Even with that, it merely popped a on inch hole in the inner lid. I came here looking to see if I could purchase a replacement for it and was thrilled to see that they are still available. The two I own have been used hard and heavy for many years and have lasted far better than I would ever have expected.

What a great idea! Nothing to snag to. Enough space for many lures or flies!

The clear plastic lids are very brittle and broke before I used it even once. The metal latch had to be bent to make it work right. Over all a lousy product. Too bad,it's a good Idea. I wish someone else would make this. Hint,hint...Plano
I will be asking for my money back.

Great idea BUT, badly made!! One door didn't close properly making it hard to lock unit. I was going to "fix it" when I noticed one half of the hinge was broken. Sending it back.. not sure whether to get another BUT I would spend $50 for one one these if only it was made of quality materials, not cheap plastic!!!
