When the bite goes slow, and it's time to vary your tactics, Berkley's PowerBait Wacky Crawlers are the best soft-baits to throw. Whether it's bounced off the bottom, or twitched over bass-holding structures, the versatile Wacky Crawler is a pure fish-producer. Its unique texture produces a winning swimming action that's enough to fool the seen-it-all crowd.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ANOTHER GREAT FINESSE BAIT Berkley keeps on making great finesse baits!! This bait can be jigwormed, shaky-head jigged, wacky style, drop shotted and split shotted. April 19, 2011

Rated 2 out of 5 by Won't Produce Bought the #77. The action is alright but the fish aren't biting it. I'm a little worried about the color... it blends in exactly with the weeds, so much that you can't tell its there. I will continue to try these, but I don't have a whole lot of faith in them... I feel like another color might work better... July 17, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worm has Great Movement Whether you finesse this worm or wacky rig it, it has great movement and you will get bites. Cast these under docks and near the weed lines. Downside is because that it is small, it attracts smaller fish such as blue gills, rock bass, etc. May 26, 2010

Sinkworm or Wacky Crawler?

Details:
I have used the sinkworm for lots of success but I have never seen the Wacky Crawler before. I want to try wacky rigging and want to know which one is best.

there pretty much the same but for the wacky crawler you might need some extra weight.

If you are wacky rigging the worm, wrap a small strip of electrical tape around the middle to hook through . this will help you get more life out of it. Wthout it the hook pulls through after a few cast. This works for any worm you wacky rig.

A:
I've had a lot of success with some of Berkley wacky crawlers but it's only with small bass. It's a good spring time bait and also to be tossed around the docks. I prefer a watermelon green or mud color.
