These baits should be illegal because the fish can't tell they're fake! I use them for largemouth bass in freshwater and for rock fish and lings in saltwater....kills' em every time.

This lure is one of my favorite things to use when bass fishing. The biggest bass I have caught so far has been with this lure. Bass seem to like the Firetiger design the most. It seems to get stuck on a lot of things, but overall it performs well

they look good but i havent caught much with them.. i look forward to using them in the spring tho to see if they do any better then. they have a great scent and look but i havent caught much with them.

i got these powerbait swimmin' shad as a gift and i have no idea how to fish them. Do i jig them or reel slowly, fish them normally etc. HELP me please im clueless as to what to do with these things.

Let the fish dictate how to fish them. My suggestion is to reel them very slowly occasionally snapping the rod. If you have windy conditions, cast it directly into the wind (using a light monofilament for a slow sink rate), let it sink to the bottom, lift the bait and reel a couple times, let it go back to the bottom. Bass and crappie will hit them as it drops so your line will just feel heavy when you lift your rod. No need for a big hook set...they typically inhale the bait. For me, SLOW is the answer.

Well to this i will say it depends on ur natural vegetation. I recommend the shad, bluegillA:

This is a question that EACH of us anglers have asked, and why the lure industry is so lucrative.The color you want to use is going to depend on 2 things primarily, but other factors come into play as well...
1. The type of water whether it's clear or stained. If a fish can't see it, they won't bite it. A good rule of thumb is to use a bright color for stained, and a less colorful for clear. (Keep it natural.)
2. Try to choose a lure that looks as close to the baitfish in the water as you can. The fish are not going to go for something that looks out of place.

No not that I am aware of I just wish they would improve the hooks and make them weedless. I would be willing to pay more money for an owner or trokar hook.

Take it out of the package and tie it on.When taking the lure out of the fish's mouth, use the metal rather than the plastic because it will tear if too much force is used to dislodge from the fish.

Theese baits are pre-rigged and ready to go. The only thing you have to do is pull off a piece of clear tubing off the hoook, easier said than done. I wish the tube was shorter, going around the hook causes it to catch the barb when pulling it off.Images for this Answer

3" white with a green tail or the "firetiger"are completely sold out in this area. There are no flats around here but the baits catch anywhere from two feet along the banks to six and eight feet in the bay. Good luck and happy fishing.

Absolutely. Catch them all the time. I like to use a 3" and the 4" size. If fish are busting bait, then I use the 4" to minimize catching rat reds and small trout. I've caught slot reds and speckled trout and even gator trout with both sizes. White, Black and white, and gold and chartreuse are my three favorite color combinations. Speckled trout and redfish like swimming irratic retreive. Founder like slow, slow, slow on the bottom retreive.A:

I have tryed every size and almost every color in every size i really trust these baits i have won 2 tornaments with the 5in. firetiger and wouldn't dare quit using it. Every color has caught fish and every size but you need to find the color and size the fish like in your area hope this helps.A:
I have had good luck with it in the summer and on rocky drops, big fish bait. A little tough on the weed lines due to open hook.
