Berkley® PowerBait® Ripple Shad
This lure has great action. The tail moves very quickly which attracts the fish. Caught 5 decent LM bass the first time out with this lure. Only complaint is that the eyes are not high quality and fall off after 3-5 fish

I mostly do river fishing from the bank, and I must say that since I discovered these lures in 2012 my fishing succes has increased 10 fold. I rig the four inch on a quarter ounce or eigth ounce(wide gap) round jig head and basically use a pumping retrieval (you could really feel the tail vibrate). On my seven foot medium action spinning combo, with fifteen pound Power Pro Spectra I can cast these babies a mile. I've caught bass, pike ,musky, and walley on these, and on more than one occation, all four species in the same day! I've been a ''collector'' of fishing lures since the late 70's and this bait, in the green back pearl colour is BY FAR the best lure I've ever used.

I have used quite a few swimbaits over the last several years and these are by far the worst. To start off with, it's not a hollow bodied swimbait and there's no slit through the belly so these are super awkward to rig. I got several hits but couldn't get a good hook set. I can with other swimbaits. These do have super-cool 3D eyes but they fall off. To top it off, the tail barely moves at all and it's not like I abused it- I took pretty good care of it. My advice: buy either a Strike King Shadalicious or a Trigger-X Slop Hopper. That's all I use now.
