My fishing partner could not find his regular "go to" worm in the color he likes, so he got these. I used our regular finesse worm. We caught the same amount , but he landed 2 four pound largemouths! Seemed like the bigger fish were hitting his. He also caught 2 two pounders. I got 5 total 1lb or less. I WILL get a bag of these next time. Used them on a shakey head.

Texas-rigged on a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook with a 3/16 or 1/4 oz worm weight, this bait has become my go-to confidence bait when fishing around submerged grass or rip rap. Yes, it tends to tear a bit more than other PowerBait plastics, but when you're catching them every 3 or 5 casts, it's hard to find fault with it.

Bought a pack of these baits to try after reading a review of them. Tried them this week at Lake Fork with very good results. Baited up with a rib snake and got immediate action flipping into downed trees and brush. Tried it again with same results. Changed to a baby brush hog to compare - got no bites for approx 30 minutes. Changed back to the rib snake and bites resumed. Suppose this could be a coincidence but --- maybe not. Used the entire pack of baits and caught around 15. As a prior report said, the baits are soft and don't always last for multiple fish, but think the softness is part of the fish attraction, along with the power bait flavor. I have used the Rib Snake several times. I prefer green pumpkin and I usually fish it on a shaky head. It typically catches good size bass for me. I use it anywhere I would typically fish a 6-8 inch straight tail worm. It does tear easily after each fish, but I like how the hook easily penetrates the worm on the hook set.
