They're a little large for sunfish. Berkley makes little 1 inch baits that are perfect for panfish, Power wigglers and any of the gulp baits will load the boat most days.A:Â

If I understand your question correctly, you want to know how to rig a swimmin minnow for Smallies. I've caught Smallies on these Swimmin Minnows and to start with you would use either an 1/8 oz or 1/16 oz colored jig head of your choosing. Start the end of the hook thru the mouth section of the Swimmin Minnow and exit the hook from the main body in the center of the dorsal fin or just behind the fin depending on the length of minnow you are using. In that color water, I would match the bait fish in the river to the color of minnow. Try the Pearl color or the Blue Galazy. Good luck!1 of 1
