You're in for several serious heavy weight battles when fishing Berkley's PowerBait Heavy Weight Sinkworms. With the ideal sinking action, these productive Heavy Weight Sinkworms wiggle like crazy as they fall and require no extra weight to reach suspended fish. The PowerBait Heavy Weight Sinkworms are most effective when rigged wacky or Texas style with a dead stick technique employed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Wacky rig I use these worms wacky rigged and they have a perfect sink rate. I have caught many bass that come out of thick cover to hit it. I twitch it sometimes to give it some added action after it sinks to the bottom. February 7, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice worm I live in south mississippi and bought a pack of these worms right before my annual trip to Michigan along with some senko worms. I found that these caught about 75% more fish with this then the senko. It seemed that the thinner profile seemed to catch more fish. I fished these with a 3/0 gamakatsu octopus hook. The only down part of this worm was that you have to rehook the worm every few casts when fishing in grassy cover. After about four days of hard fishind i need to get some more, so i went to 2 leading sportinggoods stores and they didnt have them so i had to finish the trip using senkos. January 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Artifical worm bait ever! I recently went to a pond with my friend in Ohio. His uncle has two ponds within a really short walk of his house and I started with these baits in the Green Pumpkin party color. I used a Gamakatsu 4/0 G-Mag hook. This hook really keeps the bait on especially when you are fishing through heavy cover and sometimes making a bad casts that makes the bait hit the water hard. I would fish this bait by letting it sink to the bottom and then twitching it softly and it would then feel the worm being pulled by the bass and then BAM! I would set the hook with ease. The scent is amazing and I almost went through a pack of these things because the fish were literally swallowing them whole. Half of the hooks were in the gullets of the bass and would kill the fish if I didn't leave the bait alone. It does get torn up, but only after about 5 fish. I would say I caught a good 15 or more fish that day with this worm and would recommend it to anyone. It casts a mile and works effectively. Berkley really hit the strike zone with this product. I hope they keep making these. July 5, 2010
