Berkley PowerBait Crappie Sparkle Nibbles
Berkley does it again!
From the tried and trusted Berkley Power Bait for trout, to the Gulp shrimp, and now the Power Nibbles, Berkley just never fails me! I have a couple small ponds near my home and I wanted to get my 5 and 3 year old sons out to experience fishing. When you want to expose a kid to fishing for the first time you really want it to be memorable, and you want them to catch fish. While bluegill fishing is about as surefire as it gets for teaching fishing to kids, even these panfish can be tricky to entice to the hook sometimes. With the Sparkle type Power Nibbles it was mere seconds until the first strike, and my 3 year old landed his first fish on his own Spongebob Squarepants fishing pole, which also came from Bass Pro. I don't know what Berkley does to come up with all these baits that work so well on fish, but it almost seems an unfair advantage when you've got these baits and are landing fish while others around you only look on with nothing even biting their lines.

I love the regular nibbles but these are bad news. They are very soft and if your hand has any moisture on them, the glitter transfers from your bait to you and your skin and it will not come off. I came home from fishing and had to convince my wife that I didn't go to the disco, I really did go fishing.

Love this product!
My 5 year old son and i have been using this for summer and winter fishing for the past 2 years. I wasn't sure about them until I tried the Glo Chartruese. After 5 hours, and 80 Crappies, we have just about every type of this that they make... Will use this on every trip!

had used the power bait nibbles for a long time. Got the "sparkle nibbles," and caught more fish.
My fishing buddies had to "borrow" some. They are a mess, but worth it. I fish for crappie most of the time. When the bites are a little slow, I go to the sparkle nibbles.
