This is an exceptional Rod for the money. I fish about 3 days a week for the better part of the year on the Outer Banks of NC and this rod has held up with just a spray down with fresh water after each use. I have caught numerous blues and spanish macks on it!!!!

This is the first lightning rod I've purchased as a worm rod for bass fishing . I have three others I use for walleye and panfish . Good value , Great price , and work like they're supposed to . Just have to wait for the ice to melt to try it !

I purchased an IM6, 6'-6" ML Lightning Rod for walleye fishing. This rod is a dream to fish with. Hard to believe such a high quality rod can be delivered at this price. If you like to be able to feel a light bite, get your hands on this rod.
Enjoy!

Good balance and feel but has the backbone for hook sets using texas rigged worms .A:Â
The IM6 uses a IM6 blank and has SS304 guides. The Shock, is designed for braided lines, uses a composit blank and Alum-Oxide guides.
The line you use will determin which is better for you. One note of caution: Don't over tighten the reel down on any Berkley Rod, they are a little week in the reel seats. Great rods though. Best of luck, and keep a tight line.
