Outstanding Flippin action in shallow water. If you have not tried these yet your missing out! Excellent soft plastic. The bass here in Florida love them. Hook them weight less and flip them into the thickest weed patch you can find and hang on, Ol bucket mouth will take it for sure!

I bought this bait about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I use it in place of the senko, top water frog or jig it. Texas rig a watermelon with purple flake or the big texan color and use it weightless and dart it across the surface and pause, twitch presentation. The strikes on the top water are unbelievable. Jig it and grab those big lazy boys on the bottom or rig it like a weedless senko and hop it up and let it fall and they bite on all three of those applications. This bait literally just replaced 3 baits for me. Been fishing a small lake by my house and usually I catch 4-6 descent 1.5 to 3 pounders, went out for the first time with the pit boss and smashed in around 11 bass and 4 pickerel. 6 of the bass were in the 5-7 pound range and the other 5 were all over 2 lbs. You gotta grab this bait if you don't have it already, I swear you wont regret it.

Purchace the watermelon color of the pit boss a few weeks ago been catching some about 10 to 13 inches but tonight it took off caught couple 2-1/2 to 3 pounders then I caught one about 6-7 pounds biggest bass I ever caught these baits are a must to have you won't be disappointed .

Yes this is the only way I have fished this bait so far. Very productive for me! I use black and blue flake on a 4/0 EWG hook and a 1/4 oz. bullet weight pegged with a toothpick.Images for this Answer

It all depends on what type of water you are fishing. I personally like Black/blue flake it has been very productive for me and I would recommend it to anyone.Images for this Answer

for stained water go with black and blue. For clear water choose a more natural color ie. watermelons or green pumpkin.

Generally more natural colors such as green pumpkin, watermelon, and summer craw will be more effective in clear water while brighter and more solid colors (electric blue, junebug, black/blue) will work in a stained water situation. I use the Pit Boss for flipping and pitching in thick vegetation and have found that color is not a big factor in that situation.A:Â
Sorry. I can only say what works on the lakes here in Missouri.Table rock lake is a deep clear lake.
Some timber, rocks, and several coves.
Stockton Lake is mostly shallow. Lots of timber. Not so clear in most places.
My color is watermellon seed for both these lakes.

This bait works best on shaky head, but I have used it texas rig which worked good.

I really like the action of this bait on any jig head or a weighted hook rigged weedless.It works very well with all kinds of retrieves.
The downside for me is that they aren't durable enough.

I use a 1/4 oz. mag bullet weight. All depends on the water depth/vegetation. I personally like to use a heavier weight to keep the bait on the bottom.Images for this Answer

use a 1/4 oz bullet weight. Either tungsten of lead will work. If you are flipping it into thick weed cover go with a 3/8 or 1/2oz bullet weight.A:Â

a 4/0 hook works welll with these baits. get the owner jig rig. check them out. weight and hook connected by a swivel. gives the bait a great fall. keep casting!!!A:Â
