Berkley Havoc Craw Fatty Softbaits
Best Soft Craw on the Market
These are absolutely the best soft craw available. You can flip or pitch them or a standard Texas rig is my favorite way to fish them. I have tried many other craws and yet I keep coming back to these. When I first purchased them several years ago I wasn't a fan and let them sit in my tackle bag. But after trying everything else out there this is the craw that has received the permanent spot in my arsenal. The only other craw that I carry is a Chigger Craw but I actually like these better. The profile of the bait gives flawless hookups and the action is great. I carry black/blue and green pumpkin/blue and I can cover any water with either of those colors. If I could only have 2 baits in my tackle bag this would be one of them. The head of the bait tends to tear up pretty easily and I normally can only get 1-3 fish per bait but at $3 for a pack of 8 I don't care. I easily have over 200 of these and I hope Berkley never stops making them. When times are tough on the water this bait has saved the day for me often. So action is perfect; colors are great and durability gets a C+; but again; at $3 a pack you can afford to carry a ton of these things.

i honesly cant complain about this creature lure, i threw out a couple of days ago texas rigged down here at Falcon Lake and it gave me pretty good results… Fishing down here has been pretty darn difficult but somehow this lure changed everything. I started getting so many bites with it! my friend was with me but not catching anything until he finally told me to give him one of these! overall it is a great product with nice action on the claws and it produces nice bass! i even had a gar on it but it managed to get of the hook and get away!

Great on Carolina Rigs
I have used these on Carolina rigs when I ran out of the Berkely Craws. I caught some great bass. I now make sure I have some of these when I have a tournament. I have only put them on the Carolina rig though I'm sure they will do just fine on a Texas rig. They don't last as long as some other Berkley baits. A couple 3+ pound bass and you will need to change to a new Havoc. They disintegrate pretty fast when they get chewed on. Won't stay on the hook after a couple good fish.

Great crawdad imitator
It makes sense that this bait was designed by a pro angler, it solves alot of rigging issues with its design and truly looks like a crawdad when worked through the water. The flat, wide body can be texas rigged without being too bulky to get penetration on the hook set. Despite the bulk, its slim to wide shape pulls through most weeds & snags without getting hung up. Most importantly, I have found the fish hit it (& hard at that).
