  • Designed with Mike Iaconelli
  • Astounding hybrid of a grub and finesse swimbait
  • Side-to-side tail action
  • May be used multiple ways
An extremely versatile bait, the Berkley Havoc Beat Shad was designed with Mike Iaconelli and is an astounding hybrid of a grub and a finesse swimbait. On any retrieve speed, the tail beats from side-to-side, triggering a feeding response from any nearby bass. Put it on a darter head, a shaky head, Texas rig it, or use it as a trailer. No matter how you use it, the Beat Shad is hard to beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product This is a good swimbait especially for the A-rig. Similar to the Keitech baits April 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great finesse swim bait! used by iaconelli in this years bassmaster classic. great on a light darter head of on the back of a finesse swim jig/ chatter bait. love the price as well! April 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent I saw this bait at the Bass Master Classic of 2013 and decided to try it out for $3. I pulled it out one morning using 10lb flourocarbon and rigged it on a Trokar straight shank worm hook and a sliding 1/8 worm weight. First off using this bait, I noticed it has an extremely wide tail wobble and works best swimming it slow with a few twitches every few seconds. Also, around underwater timber and tree limbs this bait works really well with "slow twitches" as in twitch pause twitch pause. I caught several fish that morning ranging from less than a pound to about 3 pounds. I would recommend the color Big Texan but I don't see it on this website. Overall, it's a great bait and has great durability. March 31, 2013
