Designed with the help of pro angler Mike Iaconelli, Berkley's Havoc Backslide is a unique soft bait with special features that help it slide or glide backwards on the fall. A flat bottom acts like the bottom of a sled to increase the bait's gliding action. A dual density salt content makes the back end of the bait heavier than the front. This heavy tail section causes the bait to slide backwards without the addition of any weight. By gliding backwards the lure mimics an injured or dying baitfish and the natural backwards scoot of crawfish. And, when gliding backward, the lure's opposing kicker legs shake and move, drawing bass in for a strike.

This is my go to when the bite requires a solw presentation. Great for low current rivers as well. Weightless with 2/0 ewg all day long. Only last a few fish so get a few packs. Worth every cent.

I been a Fan of the Wacky Stick worm and Most of the time in clear rivers . I heard about this Back Slide from the 2013 Icast show ..Had good Luck it the Havoc Pit boss So I order the Back side and the Flat Dog one Pack each.. So Far with my Testing Back side will pull Line and Flow away with a Lite worm hook. I feel that It and the Flat dog Is Missing Something to Pull Fish to it ( Maybe less Salt ) that Say a REG stick worm Like ( Gary Yamamoto Senko,Strike King Ocho,Strike King Shim-E-Stick,and Yum F2 Dinger. Maybe I testing Apples to Some other fruit.. But I know the others Pull fish out of the Cover and the Back Side go's in the cover. at times that's Not a bad thing but Of I can get old bucket mouth to come out I feel I have a better Chance of Landing it .. I get more bites on a REG Stick worm..
