Berkley Gulp! Minnow
These Gulp! Minnows are the 'hottest' lures going in my tackle arsenal. This product has out fished every bait that I currently own, and, more than likely, will own. I have found this bait to continually produce on the coldest winter days, the hottest summer days, and pre/during/post spawns.
These baits are incredible when drop-shotted. The 3" minnows in the Smelt color 'match the hatch' better than any shad imitator on the market. The 4" Smelt minnows are also great Carolina, Texas rigged, or weightless.
I highly recommend this product to Bass, Walleye, Crappie, and yes, even Catfish, fanatics.
No matter what technique, species, or time of year, this product will be a great addition to ones tackle selection.

I was up in Canada fishing two weeks ago, I had the 3" smelt, and chartruse. We started trolling Minnows w/lindy rigs. The lake calmed down and I switched to jigs w/Gulp!, and my buddy switched to jigs w/Minnows. He had landed 7or8 17"-18" walleyes. I had landed 21 walleyes maybe three under 20" and the rest all over 20" with 26 being the biggest. He then said that after the sun goes down the lake turns off. WRONG!!!!! We both had the chartruse gulp on and caught walleye after walleye for another 2 hours. He and I both couln't belive it. He tried throwing on a minnow everyonce in a while and he came up with nothing while I was still pounding them. By far the best Softbait that I have ever used. Great Job Berkley!!!!!!!

The Berkley gulp minnow is great because it can be fished a lot of different ways. I like it on a round ball jig head or a drop shot.

I fish the 3" Berkley Gulp! Minnow in smelt color for monster bronzebacks and the 4" Berkley Gulp! Minnow in smelt and pearl for hawg mossbacks. This bait is the epitome of what a quality shad-mimmicking softbait should be. It has a perfect profle (body shape) and perfect action/softness along with Berkley Gulp!'s proven scent to keep the bass holding on long enough to get a real good hookset. The bait is so soft and feels just like the flesh of a live baitfish and the scent... well that's some stinky stuff, but it works! I have fished with other plastic baits, but the bass always seem to hold on the the Gulp! lures the longest. The softness and body design give it a nice erratic and natural look in the water whether fished on a jighead, a sworming hornet, or even a carolina rig. This bait is suprisingly good for carolina rigs because of it's buoancy, which keeps it right off the bottom. I fish the 3" smelt Minnow for river smallies, as it mimicks the shad fry in mid-late fall perfectly. Fished on a jighead or under a bobber, it is deadly on river smallies. For largemouths, fishing it on a caroline rig or a jighead is also deadly. Fish it in cover, around structure, or just in open water. This bait is also great for using on a dropshot rig in summer or fall/winter. Twitching it will often trigger monster strikes. Use fluorocarbon to get the best action out of this great lure.
