Berkley Gulp! Leech and Jumbo Leech Softbaits
Underrated lure for smallmouths
This is an excellent lure for smallmouths in any type of water condition. I use the 3 inch for clear water and the 5 inch for dirty water. You can drop-shot it, carolina-rig it, split-shot-il and texas-rig it. I use the black/olive, pumpkinseed and 3-mile colors. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because they are not durable.

Great for Smallies!
Used the leech for the first time on Lake Erie. My friend and I hired a guide to fish for smallies and while my friend used minnows the whole time I decided to switch to Gulp! Leech. I was not disappointed.

I used the jumbo leech for the fist time a few days ago and it was ok. I think in the right place and rigged the right way they would work great. I fish alot with no weight and the leech is to light to fish this way. the leech also dries out if left out of the bag for long. I guess I just prefer berkley 4" original worms.

Smallies Can't Resist
I bought two bags of the jumbo leeches before a trip to the Boundary Waters in Canada. Big Mistake, I was kicking myself nearly the rest of the trip. From the first cast I realized I would regret buying two... and not 10, as I reeled in the first of countless 5lb smallmouth bass I caught in that week. I didn't have much experience fishing these kind of baits, I texas rigged them on jig heads and threw them up at the bank from a canoe and just bounced it off the granite bottom. I have no idea how many fish I caught just using these alone, many 5lb, several 6lb and a few that were pushing 7lb. My dad even caught a 25" pike on one. When I got hime I bought two 20 leech tubs for the next trip. The action on these is just killer if you go to the Boundary Waters of just love catching BIG smallmouth all day long, get these.
