I use these a lot on Lake Erie where the Goby has become a huge part of the food chain. It does catch just about everything but the bass are particularly fond of this bait. The only downside is they get torn up after only a few fish. I'll usually cut the nose off when it gets chewed up. Texas rigging these has been the ticket for me but I've also used them on drop shot rigs with limited success. they may be just a little too heavy for a drop shot rig.

This the best gulp ever. It catches everything from bass to catfish and even pike! I get the best results when texas rigged. And this stuff stinks t00 which i think helps get more attention.

I fished up at the local pond for a while and got HUGE bites just couldnt make the hook set. If jigged right its pretty much snag proof.
Bass and catfish both love it. Happy Fishin

the most effective way i found to use the goby is to use a gamakatsu octopus hook and a bullet weight some a texas rig with a circle hook basiclly
