Berkley Gulp! Alive 8'' Eel is the perfect plastic bait for chasing cobia and stripers. Because Berkley’s super-realistic, biodegradable Gulp! Alive Eels actually “live in a high-octane Gulp! solution, they absorb 20% more fish-attracting scent and flavor. Plus, Gulp! Alive Eels gives you more rigging options than live bait. The Berkley Gulp! Alive Baits are sold by net weight and not by count. 18 oz. bucket of Gulp! Alive Eels is approximately equivalent to six bags (5-count) of Gulp! baits.

OK in a pinch! I would rather use live bait, specially eels, for striped bass! But around here they can be very hard to find, so I have these when I can't get the real ones! They don't swim that well, when the bite is on, and I run out of the real ones, they will get me some fish, not like the real live ones, but it's better than nothing. Not a bad back up bait! hello justy this bait is sickkkkkkkkk...go to a dock at night and drop it under one of the lights and a striper will eat it in seconds September 2, 2011
Disappointed! Gulp is a great product for salt water but i've had little luck using this one. November 23, 2010
8 inch eels these are pretty close to real, but you have to pay alittle more attention to a hit..they dont seem to swallow it as often as real..........but overall very effective and a lot cheaper than real ..got fish and no complaints.....buy them and try them......... September 8, 2010

Best on a jighead...stick hook in center of tip (head) , thread all the way on to the jig with hook tip coming out the top of its back.

Rig as you would a bass worm setup for weedless presentation. Also with a jig head 1/2 oz should be enough weight in most situations.
