Smelt and pan fish! These are absolutely the best bait for ice fishing smelts, and yellow perch! They work in all colors, they last for ever, and they can be recharged! Use one or two or three on a hook, can't go wrong! March 4, 2012
Want to catch Fish When catching panfish I use a small jig and a float with berkley gulp waxies and you'll be saying FISH ON!! and not only do you catch Bluegill, sunfish, perch, pumpkinseed. I have also caught a couple bullheads and bass on this rig. This is a great product for catching fish and it alot easier than using messy nightcrawlers and they last longer too! September 5, 2011
nice bait stays on the hook for multiple fish hook-ups, one of the colors usually works better just try them all and you ll know what one works the best now. July 1, 2011
Great for kids and panfish Got kids? Tired of hooking on worms for them, or watching them mess with worms or dough only to have it stolen CONSTANTLY? These Gulp Waxies catch Sunfish as well or better than worms and dough - my kids use the Gulp while literally standing right besides other kids fishing worms and dough. They probably catch more fish than the other kids, and the gulp stays on! June 28, 2011

A:
Sure will. It might be a bit overkill, however. You could go with a more inexpensive reel that is constructed with more plastics because the demand is quite low with perch.

Just from my experiences, the white bait on its own or paired with a pink grub worked great for me. I must have caught 20 or so yellow perch using the bait.

I have had great luck using the white. They can't stay away from the scent on these things. Good luck!

The actual number of worms isn't printed on the jar, but I'm guessing somewhere between 75 and 100.

I have the magots, craws, and minnows and was wondering if the juice was the same in all of them. It would be a lot easier if I could mix some of each in one container when going out fishing.

I would assume so, the smell and liquid is the same. The color does not bleed through that I have seen.

The solution is the same in each 2 oz. jars with different colors. It is recommended to keep the jars in a zip-lock bag because if you forget to close the jar, you will have a mess and the smell is not desirable.

A guide friend of mine keeps several colors of the Gulp Alive product mixed together in the same packaging - given, they're all the same type of product - crawlers - but no color transfer whatsoever, unlike plastics.

The liquid is going to be a bit different for each product. I'd probably keep different flavors separately. Best to contact the manufacturer directly and Berkley will let you know for certain.

I can't swear it's chemically the same, but it looks and smells the same. I admit I haven't tasted it yet. ;)
