panfish love it I have been using this stuff ice fishing this year with great sucess i have the pink and the white they both seem to get em. I usually only used minnows and i swear these things are outfishing the live minnows for crappie almost every time. The nice bonus is with these i have been getting a bunch of nice gills as well. good luck and tight lines January 16, 2009
Good Stuff.......So Far The first time I used the worms was in a 3.5 acre family pond on ice, the pond has great large mouth bass, blue gills, and crappie but doesnt give up fish very well, no matter what time of the year it is and I caught a dozen hand size and bigger blues in a hour and 2 to small to keep. 4 years ago crappie where added to it and there are now some big paper mouths but like I said earlier its a very tough pond to fish. But I caught 2, 16inch crappie in 3 mins back to back out of same hole. And I know of only one other guy to ever catch a crappie on ice here.... PS. I have caught roughly 25 fish so far this winter on ice and I have only lost 3 worms. Real bait does not last this long and will be put to the test this spring and summer fishing for gills and crappie. Very Happy with the bait....cant wait to use the Red Angelworms Micro and Minnows (Picture is of the first crappie caught that day, sorry tail was caught out of pic, wanted to get him back into the water asap) January 7, 2011
They work Used 12-28-10 ice fishing with Son and daughter- in- law, caught blue gills, just as many as they did with spikes. She hadn't had a bite for awhile so I dropped the spike in the juice of the gulp and bingo, fish on. ps don't tear the seal off the jar just cut through it, this keeps the seal. December 30, 2010
you wont believe it Berkley's powerbait and Gulp! products are my absolute favorite baits/lures to use and these are the icing on the cake! I had just got a jar of these and was anxious to try them since i like catching crappie and panfish. First cast with the of these on small hook, caught 32 fish on my next 32 casts. im not kidding. fish will not turn this down. i was fishing hook and bobber about 7 feet off a dock and he bobber about a foot and a half above the bait. i prefer the pink color best October 26, 2008

will these work with perch?

A:
Sure will. It might be a bit overkill, however. You could go with a more inexpensive reel that is constructed with more plastics because the demand is quite low with perch.

Just from my experiences, the white bait on its own or paired with a pink grub worked great for me. I must have caught 20 or so yellow perch using the bait.

The actual number of worms isn't printed on the jar, but I'm guessing somewhere between 75 and 100.

I have the magots, craws, and minnows and was wondering if the juice was the same in all of them. It would be a lot easier if I could mix some of each in one container when going out fishing.

I would assume so, the smell and liquid is the same. The color does not bleed through that I have seen.

The solution is the same in each 2 oz. jars with different colors. It is recommended to keep the jars in a zip-lock bag because if you forget to close the jar, you will have a mess and the smell is not desirable.

A guide friend of mine keeps several colors of the Gulp Alive product mixed together in the same packaging - given, they're all the same type of product - crawlers - but no color transfer whatsoever, unlike plastics.

The liquid is going to be a bit different for each product. I'd probably keep different flavors separately. Best to contact the manufacturer directly and Berkley will let you know for certain.

I can't swear it's chemically the same, but it looks and smells the same. I admit I haven't tasted it yet. ;)
