Looks ALIVE, tastes ALIVE, feels ALIVE -- because your bait actually "lives" in a natural, super-charged GULP solution!

Berkley's Gulp Alive Pogy sports the same shape and action as the original Berkely Pogy, but the Gulp Alive Pogy is loaded with 20% more fish-attracting scent. Packed in easy-to-carry, simple-to-store buckets brimming with revolutionary Alive! juice. Unbelievably deadly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Work great These are wonder working bass catchers I like to put weedless hooks on them and use them around trees and rocks. Bass and Large Slabs are attracted to them January 28, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by This work great I have more than one great day fishing with Gulp. Last weekend I out fish all my buddies until I shared. Another great way to use this once it finished put your 3”-4” flipping tubes in the bucket. This is the best way I have found if you need to change colors. The sent does not stay on too long but it works well. January 12, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Out fish live bait Ihad a friend tell me about this product but I was skeptical. I decided to give them a try and have since stopped purchasing live bait and have out fished my friends using live bait on more than one occasion. Great product thanks Berkley November 16, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Want some action?? I've been using this bait for Flounder fishing and it's like the secret weapon I keep hidden when I go wade fishing. Days I go out with Gulp Alive, I just don't get the tugs that will keep me busy. The problem with this bait is that EVERYTHING goes for it. I'm a big Rapala XRap user. I did a little experiment and tried throwing both baits for 1 hour in the same vacinity. I got NO tugs with the X Rap. The Gulp Alive was rediculous. I got a good work out just trying to set the hook everytime trash fish and game fish took a nibble. Don't get me wrong, I will still toss my XRaps but I think I will reserve them for my redfish hunts. This soft plastic also tears very easy. Don't fret! Gulp Alive will still hook flounder without tails and parts of the body. Don't throw it away till you have nothing. I'm serious! This stuff is a fishing miracle. November 11, 2007

Not very many for the price. Estimate 2 dozen. A cheaper alternative is to buy the GULP strips and attach them to your normal jig-head and jig-body. The strips are much cheaper.

I was thinking about getting the sardine colored ones, but also considered the mackerel. I should stick with the sardine ones, right?

A:
Use colors and size matching the bait in your local waters, I have used smelt and sardine and they did not produce like the silvermud and new penny type have. Silvermud matches mullet baitfish.

A:
I use the Strike King, Flats jig head and Bass Assassin, Assassin jighead in either 3/8 oz. or 1/4 oz. depending on depth to be fished and need for casting distance.
