Berkley Gulp! Alive! Angleworm Micro Baits
Work when you run out of everything else
These worms, they do work. However they really cannot compare to the classic lure invented by mother nature, a real worm. They have their uses though. Like when I was out channel catfishing and needed more cut bait. I just pulled out my Ultra-Light rod and popped one of these on a hook, dipped it in the water, and pulled out 6 itty bitty gills that were then cut up into pieces and thrown out for the cats. So yes, these work. But only if you don't have the convenience of buying real worms.
While I cannot recommend these strongly over actual worms, I must commend Gulp! for their hard work and attention to detail on the realism of these worms. They really do look and feel like the real thing.

Fantastic With Other Baits
Great Bait!!! I mainly use these for the panfish that hang out around the boat launch at the lake by my cabin. The only way to catch fish effectively is to have these in natural, Gulp Alive Waxies in white, and Gulp Alive 1 inch minnows in emerald shiner. I tend to start out with waxies, if that doesn't work, then I switch to these, if that doesn't work, then I will switch to the minnows. I just use any bobber rig with a smaller sized bobber. A small split shot or two and then a small size twelve dry fly hook that I have for fly tying.

Hard to find
I have used these angle worms all season and have caught everything from sunnys to LM bass in great numbers. Now Berkly discontinued this worm..
Grab them when you can find them!

These look good but I didn't get a hit on them despite lots of catches on nightcrawlers.
