The Berkley® Gulp!® Night Crawler looks like the real thing and smells even better! Designed to look just like an all-time favorite, a real night crawler, this worm’s enticing action and powerful Gulp! attractor scent really brings in the big ones. Length: 6''. 10 pack.

Berkley's Gulp!® baits are a substantial improvement over plastic bait technology. To attract fish and get them to feed, you have to appeal to their senses of smell and taste, technically known as chemoreceptors. Berkley has effectively bridged the gap between live and articificial baits with the Gulp!® baits. Gulp!® baits are very similar in texture and chemical potency to live bait, but have all the shape, action, and color advantages of soft plastics. Gulp!® actually releases 400 times faster than equivalent plastic baits with a scent trail so intense fish sense it from much farther away, and it is 100% biodegradable.

Solid Pond Bait I use this bait in my retention ponds in Indiana where I live. It is very good in the rain and early spring when water is high. December 31, 2010
pretty good Attracts more bass then I have ever seen in the green pumpkin color, but often tears after 1 or 2 strikes. If only this lure was more durable, it might deserve those last 2 stars. September 6, 2006
Warm Water Berkley Gulp performs excellent when the water temps. reach the upper 60's and higher. However, I have had very little success with this bait when the water is colder. Plus it doesn't stand up very well on a shakey head. I start fishing Gulp during May here in Texas and use it throughout the summer. It probably works best for me during the post-spawn in June. It will also catch a lot of catfish during this time. March 5, 2008
Good "Catch All" Being such a dry year - the real thing (nightcrawlers) are hard to find. I had been trying in vain to find a "plastic" replacement. These "gulps" (I had the pumpkinseed color)were the first ones that the fish actually liked. I tested 4 different brands - me a my three kids tonight....We fished 3 hours -- each taking turns with one of the 4 plastic worm brands....At the end of the night we had 6 fish....And guess what? - All 6 were caught with the Berkley Gulps. (4 Cats, 1 LM Bass, 1 Bluegill) Not so much as a bite on the other 3 brands. As a side note -- these were the most expensive of the 4 brands I purchased. I figured we did about 70-75% of what I have been getting with worms when I fish alone. July 3, 2006
