REBATE Berkley® FireLine® Fishing Line - 1500 Yards - Crystal
If the fish don’t see it, they won’t get spooked! That’s the accepted truth that spawned the first translucent superline for near invisibility underwater. Berkley's FireLine Crystal Line sets new standards for ultimate sensitivity, low visibility, and exceptional strength in situations that require a stealthy presentation. Color: Crystal. 1500 yard spool.

This line will cast about 30% farther than mono, and it will never coil up like some mono's do...I use this on all my equipment..Never an issue about visibility either...Please try this line...You will not regret it....

I love this line it's very strong! I have caught a lot of channel and shovel head catfish including a 23lb cat with no problem using a bass pro bait cast pole. I have also caught bass during the daytime when the crystal fishing line is visible.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jerkbaitdude Great Line!!!
I can't believe some of these negative reviews. This line is awesome. I use the 10lb/ 4 dia version on a 7' lady Ugly stick with a PENN Sargus SP. Reel. I also attach a couple feet of Flourocarbon as a leader. I routinely bring in big Stripers in the 30" + class range with it.
NO lie i've litteraly caught more than 250 Stripers (inshore) on this rig. I fished the entire season and this line was tough to kill. Great Knot strength...use a palomar. No stretch, VERY sensitive. The line is so darn thin and Plus with my leader it's perfect. I don't think the line is very visible, mable above the water...but down under it doesn't effect my fishing at all.
One spool of this line will last at least 3 Refills of Mono fishing during a season.
One thing you do have to do before each trip is to spray your spool with Silicon Lubricant spray like REEL Magic. That will condition the line and it'll cast like a dream.

Fireline crystal is supposed to be a transleusent superline, but looking at it, it doesn't look too invisible. Is it actually transleusent under water? How is the visibility compared to monofilament or flourocarbon? Overall, should I get fireline crystal, or just regular fireline?Answers
A:Â
It seems invisible in the waterA:Â
no its not invisible....its white line... you can see white in or on anything...A:Â
eh its kinda like having your cake n' eatin it too, there is no such thing as an invisible braid, if visibility is the biggest concern i go to flourocarbon, but unmatched strength to diameter ratio choose a braid..however if you dont like going home with black or moss green hands choose crystal..mono should be extinctA:Â
It's not invisible at all. Go powerpro and never look back. If you are looking for stealth, learn how to tie flourocarbon leadersA:Â
Crystal is not as advertised. I have used it and respooling with new dark line. Lot less strikes with this line. Will not buy again.1 of 1
