Berkley Digital Fish Scale
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have performed several tests with hanging weights (3, 5 and 10 lbs) and the scale is accurate within 1 ounce +/- each time. I have not had the scale for a long period of time, so I can't comment on the battery life... but if this is going in a boat or even a backpack, be prepared and carry some extra batteries. This isn't brain surgery.
... and seriously, taking this to a tournament without extra batteries would be like taking the hooks and plugs that are already tied on to your poles and nothing more.

Needs an "OFF" Switch
This scale weighs fish really good, but if you need to weigh more then 1 fish at a time be prepared to have to turn it back on. It needs an "OFF" switch to help save the battery. Maybe berkley will have one sometime soon.

Just good to have.
I like to know the weight of my trophies so this little thing is a must. I haven't put anything to heavy, (over 40lbs) on it but so far it has held up well and has been very accurate.

Not so good
I have had battery issues. So if you get one keep extra batteries in your box. Its o.k. when it works. I am actually looking into other ones so i can retire this.
