Rated 5 out of 5 by works great does what its suppost to easy to install works nicely August 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok, product Easy to install. If you're putting rods in and out of it quite often, you might want to find something else. The foam inserts seem to tear a bit and I've only had this for a month. Still good for the price and I would recommend May 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rack The Berkley Deluxe Rod holder keeps my rods organized and off the floor. May 6, 2013

This really isn't the best or most secure rack for a truck. It won't hold the rods if you are off road

This should work great for your application on the hard shell liner. Be sure to thoroughly clean your liner surface as instructed by the product manual prior to installation.

I use it with my reels on my rods. It gets a bit crowded but if you wiggle here and there you'll get em in there.

The vertical holder was made for just rods, without reels. You may be able to store them with reels on, but they will be crowded and the reels may hang up on each other. Berkley makes one specific for combos, 38-421-988-00
