With all the extra adapters and two blades I thought this would be a good buy, how wrong I was! I tried using this to fillet stripers and it couldn't even get through the scales! Does not have enough power to do the job if you do get through the scales with a regular knife. The ac adapter plug broke the first time I used a different adapter. Be better off trying to fillet with a butter knife.

I got this fillet knife a little while back and took it to the lake for about a week. I used it each day and cleaned 15 to 20 crappie and around 10 bluegill each day. For the smaller fish everything worked fine, but I haven't got to use it on any bigger fish. I have cleaned a couple hundred smaller fish with it and can't say anything bad about it. The blades are still sharp and holding up and I really like how long the cord is.

if you are reading this you just saved the time of returning this knife. unless you are only cleaning small blugill this knife will not work. It is sooo underpowered it hurts. I have used electric knifes for 12 years cleaning thousands of fish and i cant believe bass pro would even carry such a poor item.
