Rated 5 out of 5Â by Oberst Good fluoro replacement
I really get tired of paying preposterous fluorocarbon leader prices. I still use fluoro, but for 60-100 pound leaders for deep dropping to amberjack and red snaper, I have mostly switched to this mono leader, using 4-5 feet below egg sinkers. I can't see any difference from the fluoro for these kinds of fish, and it's really nice to ditch a frayed leader or tie on a longer one without looking at the spool and sweating out how much I have left and the ridiculous price it's gonig to cost to replace it. I still use fluoro for trolling plugs or lining out bait for tuna, but am even wondering about that.

This is a good inexpensive leader for the money. I've been tying my own rigs for many years now and for the money, I think this is definitely a bargain.
My only suggestion is, make sure you don't need it right away. It took almost 2 weeks to get to my house. I've had items form China that got here faster.

I would sat it's the same, except I think the leader is off a bigger spool and I find it to be alot easier to work with when rigging lures or just makeing a leader for a hook. The leader material it much straighter than the mono off the spool makeing it easire to work with. It's really up to what you want to do with it.Hope that anser's your ?A:Â
No, not the regular Big Game but like the Trilene Big Game Mono.Answers

This leader material makes an excellent shock leader in rocky environs. It is very abrasion resistant. It is a stiff mono though and a softer mono makes a better shock leader when casting for distance.Catch you on the next cast,

Yes it will. Big Game has good shock absorbtion and this leader material handles the job as well as the regular line does.1 of 1
