the best thing in my box this is my go to bait when i am not getting any bites September 29, 2012
Best Worm True to fish will not let go. Use the pumpkin and black/blue fleck. Always produces for me. Tried all the others and they do not seem to want to work like this does. Can use over and over again. They seem to hold together well. September 4, 2012
Great Worm This is a great worm. When I was in the mountains fishing for largemouth and smallmouth, I was trying every single bait I had in my tackle box and got nothing. Then I pulled out this worm and caught a 1 pound largemouth and then a 5 pound small mouth. Great bait. August 2, 2012
Great Rubber for Largemouths A favourite in hidden back lakes on largemouths. No matter what they're eating, this style of worm gets them going. July 27, 2012

A:
You could use a 4/0 hook with this worm, however, the barb of the hook will be a little further back on the worm. A 3/0 hook would also work very well.

Use it!.. The motor oil 7" would be perfect for muddy or clear water, however, try using your favorite color and try it. use a number 3 or 4 wideGap gamakatsu and make it weedless in the worm. I would also try a red hook (blood trail) and 8 or 10 flourocarbon leader. good luck

They work well on a Carolina rig. I use either 3/0 or 4/0 Owner Rig-N hook on the 7 inch version, depending on the cover. On the 4 inch size, I use the 2/0 Rig-N hook. In grass, I use the smaller size, as it seems to clog up less. Just make sure you rig it with the tail pointing down, so you get maximum vibration. Good luck!

These worms on a Carolina Rig is my only bass setup. A 7" worm on a size 1 or 2 hook. (red hook specifically). I guarentee you more fish. Only use colors that match the foilage in the lake. I use only Green Pumpkin and Watermelon Seed.

These things are awesome on Carolina RIgs! It's my favorite way to fish these. As far as hooks go, I'd use a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG.

Shaky head rig

Details:
Any one had success fishing these on a shaky head jig? Berkley's Turtleback worms produce well with this presentation even though they are not shaky head specific worms.

Just wondering how the Power Worms would do?

I've had plenty of success stories from using different techniques with the MotorOil power worms by Berkly. As a shaky, a good chartreuss head with red eye or white head with red eye. I've used the MotorOil in clear and muddy and I've had plenty of bass hooked. Try using a red offset hook. (blood trail)

These are on the large size for most river smallies. I would suggest a 3 inch or 4 inch power grub on a 1/16 or 1/8 oz jig head.

I go through my plastic baits periodically and cull the old ones. This is the first year I bought alot of Berkely PowerBait worms and grubs and won't use them all this season. I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Also, any advice about attractants would be welcome.

Keep them in air tight containers and they should last 2-3 years. Keep different colors and makes seperate. Some don't play well with others. I sometimes dip these in a jar of Mikes Salmon eggs.

These last many years. I have found packages in old tackle boxes that are several years old and they seem to work just as well as the brand new ones. No need to cull these.

A:
They will last a very long time as long as you keep them at room temperature and sealed. When you get ready to fish them, just take one out, give it a little stretch and as long as it doesn't break and still has a good stink, you're good to go. These worms are better than culprit, and I have had a pack of culprits for over four years now and they're still like new.

A:
Czer. It is not the water so much as the outside lighting. Blue fleck and motor oil red flake when the sun is shining. Motor oil and pumpkin seed when it is cloudy or in early morning. Try using solid colors in murky water( White or black both work).

Color really depends on the lake you are fishing time of day weather and the time of the year. A good color year round is pumkin seed.

Wacky fishing was invented by Ohioan fishing in Texas Lake Sam Rayburn.
If there are stumps or weeds you may want to fish weedless. Texas rig or Carolina rig.
