I utilize the 12 Volt version of the knife to field fillet my fish. I plurchased the 110 Volt version to use in the kitchen to carve the roast, prime rib, ham, etc.
I know how well the knife works in the field which is why I purchased the knife for the kitchen and it is the best carving knife I have in my kitchen!

I tried to clean some small crappie this weeend with this knif. It did not have enough power to cut through thr rib cage of the fish. I was very disipointed

needs to have more power. On cleaning several fish handle gets hot......other than that it is OK.

Great knife , works well , use the 8 in blade to fillet, use the 6 inch blade to remove skin. Keeps the smaller blade razor sharp. Only drawback, cord is very short.
