The gun's chrome-lined barrel resists corrosion and requires less maintenance. Beretta keeps the PX4 Storm light with a corrosion resistant, fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame that includes an integral Picatinny rail for rapid attachment of tactical lights and laser aiming devices. Ambidextrous manual safety lever is positioned on both sides of the slide for easy access by all shooters. Bruniton™ non-reflective black coating provides superior corrosion and wear resistant finish. White 3-dot sights provide quick acquisition of the target. Weight: 27.7 oz. Capacity: 10+1 rounds.

Bought this after conducting research and shooting several makes and models . Since the purchase, I have shot about 300 rounds. The following is my honest assessment:
Flawless shooting; no FTFs or FTEs with both commercial and hand loads.
Low recoil (more back than up), that allows faster follow-up shots.
A breeze to take apart, clean, and reassemble.
Some say this large frame pistol is ugly, but I believe it has an intimidating look that is due in part to its "chunky" or robotic profile.
The changeable grips are a bonus, especially if you have small or large hands.
The decocker is an enjoyable safety feature.
The price is competitive and a fair market value.
Initially, my gun consistently shot low and left, even from a bench rest with different commercial loads . Adjustable sights was needed to get a good center grouping. I have since met others at the range that have had the same issue with initial accuracy.
The DA trigger-pull really is a long grind, but the SA is fairly crisp and short.
The safety is a bit awkward to push upwards, and it has an outward spur on both sides that can be prone to snagging.
The"speed" loader that comes with the kit is a bit clumsy and difficult, especially with a fresh magazine.
In summary, I wish my experience was as good as so many other PX4 owners, but the accuracy issue was disappointing enough to put a stink on my enthusiasm for this particular firearm. Understandably, I would only recommend this firearm with caution, but will continue to shoot it and provide a future update on its performance.

Shoots well and is easy to field strip. It has been accurate and the felt recoil is minimal to me. I do not believe it is as good as my Springfield Armory XDM but it is close.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fisherman209 Nice Gun!
I purchased this model chambered in 9mm. It's a very nice looking gun with a futuristic kind of look to it.
The gun breaks down extremely easy and very similar to a Glock.
There is a nice red indicator on the outside of the extractor to indicate that there is a live round in the chamber.
This gun shoots a lot better than I expected. From about 15-20 yards, I was able to shoot a very tight group with 100 rounds. The trigger reset is nice and set up similar to a Glock.
Overall a sweet shooting gun at a great price.

Bought my first handgun about a year ago. I really didn't know what i wanted for sure. Just knew i wanted reliability in my handgun. I looked at the .45 PX4 and knew it was the one. I am a big guy and the interchangeable hand gaurds are great. The gun fits perfectly in my hands. With a loaded 10 rd magazine the weight is evenly distributed. Its easy to clean. Plus that rotating barrel technology makes the amount of kick seem like nothing at all. Love the Beretta PX4 .45ACP
