One of the most extensively tested and duty proven autoloading designs in existence, the Beretta 92FS is an accurate, high performance firearm you can trust. The 92FS utilizes a short recoil, delayed blowback system that averages 17,500 rounds fired without a stoppage in testing. Built on an extremely strong, lightweight, forged aircraft-quality aluminum alloy frame, this gun features an open top slide that virtually eliminates jamming and stove piping. The chrome lining in the gun's barrel provides extreme corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning, while the deeply recessed combat muzzle crown protects the rifling. Disassembly latch simplifies field stripping for maintenance and stays on the gun for easy access at any time. Spring-loaded, ambidextrous safety lever doubles as a decocking lever. Hammer drop catch to protect against unintentional hammer drops. Visible automatic firing pin block. Bruniton™ non-reflective black coating provides superior corrosion- and wear resistance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NAILS Good, accurate handgun
I have owned this gun for about a year and fired several hundred rounds from various manufacturers through it. No jams or failures of any kind. It is one of the most accurate handguns I own. Recoil is minimal compared to lighter guns which improves accuracy on follow-up shots. It also breaks down easily for cleaning
I would trust this gun anywhere, anytime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RnG3RmN Awesome Weapon!
I recently purchased a beretta 92 because I was in need of a home defense weapon that both myself and my wife could shoot. I chose the beretta 92 because I am a military man and it is essentially the same firearm as we are issued in the field. It is very easy to use and very durable, my wife loves it and its great fun at the range!

I purchased the Beretta 92A1 a few weeks ago and very impressed with this firearm. The gun shoots very smooth. Everything is where is should be also on the gun. I am a lefty and the safety is on both sides which is a plus. The only reason I chose the Beretta over the Sig P226 was the decocker location. I took this firearm to the range and no problems. The acuracy was good too. It will be better the more I shoot this fire arm also. Nothing to report bad. The pistol came with a bike lock and 3 magazines that hold 17 rounds of 9mm.
